Yarrow is a hardy perennial herb with feathery, fern-like leaves, flat-topped clusters of small flowers, and a long history of medicinal and ornamental use. A great understory crop, yarrow makes for excellent ground cover and compansion planting. It has an extensive root system that helps stabalize soil and makes it drought resistant. It attracts pollinators, young leaves can be used in salads or teas, and medicnally it has been used for wound healing, reducing bleeding, easing menstrual cramps, digestive support and anti-inflammation.
