Florida native evergreen bush or small tree known for its year-round attractive flowers and colorful berries. It provides food and shelter for birds, butterflies & bees and can be a great hedge or standalone plant. The fruit is edible with a sweet, mealy pulp that has a mild and citrus-like flavor. The seeds are bitter not usually consumed.
