Subtropical evergreens native to eastern Australia, valued for their rich, buttery nuts. They thrive in warm, frost-free environments and are best suited to USDA zones 9–11. Sensitive to frost, especially when young. Grafted saplings can begin producing nuts in 3–5 years.
